The Net Huts

These tarred and weatherboarded structures date from the 17th century, before the Stade developed. At this time, there was nowhere to spread the nets to dry so they were made as tall as possible to give Fisherman enough space.

Restored with a Heritage Lottery Grant, they're now one of the town's most historic landmarks.
